I’m interested in readables like text, writeables like texting, listenables like voice notes and watchables like ... tiktoks.
I’m into manifestos, not manifestations.

Chiara Kristler (1998, IT/AT) is a Vienna based media artist.  She is currently studying Digital Arts under UBERMORGEN at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

After completing a bachelor's degree in Fashion and Textile Design at the Institute for Applied Arts and Design in Bologna, she worked as a graphic designer in both corporate and independent situationships. Her work has been exhibited at Schauraum MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, Studio Hanniball in Berlin, Studio Steroid in Vienna, the Museum of Modern Art Bologna, and BASE in Milan, and has been featured in Autre Magazine and RIFE Magazine, among others.

Chiara is part of Malpractice, together with Marcin Ratajczyk and and their AI counterpart - Flynn. The collective explores the aesthetics and affordances of beyond-human agency through projects that embed AI into academic, artistic, and social infrastructures. Rather than using AI as a tool, Malpractice treats it as a collaborator in distributed creative processes where authorship becomes porous and plural. They build systems that observe, interact, and occasionally malfunction in public, testing the limits of synthetic subjectivity, interface performance, and shared autonomy.
