Santini
Santini is a project that brings the traditional concept of pocket saints—small, symbolic cards carried for blessings and protection—into the digital era. Inspired by the world of NFTs, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology, these modern “saints” are reimagined as digital tokens that safeguard your virtual presence. Designed to be kept in your digital wallet, they act as symbolic protectors for assets, privacy, and identity, addressing the vulnerabilities of our increasingly online lives and transactions. The project also draws on the communal and narrative nature of text chains, echoing the interconnected ethos of blockchain itself. By merging ancient symbols of faith with digital aesthetics, Santini bridges the gap between tradition and technology, reflecting on how we navigate and protect ourselves in a decentralized, virtual world. The project was featured as part of a group NFT drop “Can you feel the value?” curated by Anika Meier and released on objkt.com in January 2024.
